Architectural Design
Eclipse is a third-year architectural project done
by Helen Zhao and Julian Molina under Edgar Duran.
The biological circadian rhythm was
researched and studied to design the circulation
and feeling of the environment for a user.
Eclipse was awarded the Design Excellence Award (Spring 2024)
by ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

Hatch is surrounded by vegetation and farm land located in
Phoenix, Arizona.
Designed to create connection and interaction between
neighbors and nature. Common shared yards inspired
by housing in San Francisco where yards meet each other--
creating a space for visual of greenery and allowing more space
for gardens and planting. A common yard creates a beautifully
shared and a community built design.

Individual Project, ARC401
Ma is housing for student living located in Grant Park,
Phoenix Arizona. No doors or walls separating
the programs. Every programs flows in one space where
you sense each other's presence in any room.
Ma means the space between things.

Flora is designed based on movements and daily activities of a
Botanist role.
Flora includes both private and public space for the
community designed for a botanist's day-to-day
activities laying on
the intersection of Grand Ave. in Phoenix, Arizona.
With Regan Clark and Angel Quintino, ARC301
